报告摘要:Scoliosis is a spinal deformity characterized with three dimensional lateral curvature and axial vertebral rotation. Eighty percent of scoliosis cases are idiopathic, and it is usually detected on the juvenile and adolescent stages (JIS or AIS) with the prevalence ranged from 2% to 4%. Ultrasound techniques have been applied to the diagnosis and treatment of scoliosis, especially for the monitoring and prediction of the spine curve change. The spine imaging method reconstructed a full-spine 3D image based on the transverse reflection intensity images in accordance with the obtained location and orientation information. The results of the spine curve measurement from the ultrasound images are comparable to the conventional radiography, and the difference and correlation between the two modalities are less than 3 degree and higher than 90%. Moreover the ultrasound techniques can be used to estimate the curve flexibility and curve change during brace casting, which shows considerable advantages over the conventional radiography. The US techniques are radiation-free, easy to operate, mobile and cost-effective and become a great promising clinical tool for the diagnosis and treatment of Scoliosis.
报告人简介:郑锐,2000年本科、2002年硕士毕业于清华大学工程物理系,2011年博士毕业于加拿大阿尔伯塔大学(University of Alberta)物理系和生物医学工程系,2012年至2013年博士后就职于法国CNRS力学与声学研究所(Laboratory of Mechanics and Acoustics–CNRS),2013年至2017年在加拿大阿尔伯塔大学及阿尔伯塔省医疗卫生局附属Glenrose康复医院(Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital, Alberta Health Sciences)任职研究助理。研究工作主要集中于超声物理、生物医学工程、医疗诊断等学科的交叉应用,致力于将超声的基础理论研究与工程、医疗应用相结合。在脊柱超声成像、脊柱侧弯的超声诊断和辅助治疗、皮质骨的超声探测及诊断、骨质疏松的超声诊断、中低频段超声成像以及超声信号及图像处理方面取得了系统性的重要成果。先后参与多项医学超声及超声物理科研项目,部分成果具有国际领先水平,并在Spine,Eur. Spine. J.,Spine. Deform.,Ultrasound. Med. Biol.,Can. J. Surg.和IUS、SRS、IRSSD、SOSORT等多种国际期刊和学术会议上陆续发表论文30余篇。
