1) Electromagnetic polarized wave artificial microstructure materials and devices. Focusing on artificial microstructures and devices based on magnetic materials and dielectrics, we research the interaction mechanism of electric and magnetic polarized waves and materials, develop high-performance devices, and promote the application of scientific research results in information technology and related fields.
2)Micro-/nano- structured acoustic/phononic/thermal materials and devices. We use the new technology of micro-/nano- processing to study the interaction mechanism between acoustic waves/phononics and micro-/nano-structured materials, explore new energy materials and devices based on acoustic waves/phononics, and provide key technologies and support for promoting the large-scale application of new energy technologies and achieving sustainable economic development.
3) X-ray artificial microstructure materials and special optical components. We explore new high-resolution scintillation films and ultrafast scintillation materials and their devices, and use artificial micro-/nano- processing technology to carry out in-depth research on new X-ray optical components and systems, providing services for national key strategic tasks.
4) Visible light and infrared radiation artificial microstructure materials and devices. We carry out the basic and application research of nanoporous artificial controllable microstructure materials, and develop the application of micromachining technology in the field of high technology. We also develop new functional materials and devices with adjustable properties for visible light, infrared radiation and other properties. By controlling the microstructure of the material, we can control the transport characteristics of light and heat, and provide core materials and key technologies for many fields.
