Shanghai Key Laboratory of Special Artificial Microstructure Materials and Technology was approved for preparation by Shanghai Science and Technology Committee in November 2007, and was built and approved in January 2010. In the same year, it started to open to public. Our lab is supported by Tongji University, and was co-built with Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology. It is also the key discipline and base founded by “211 Projects” and “985 Projects” in Tongji University. Our lab aims for the forefront of the scientific research and the national requirements, and combines fabrication of artificial microstructure materials and controlling of wave transmission feature. Both of the fundamental and theoretical researches in our lab contribute to new materials, new technologies and new devices, and also provide with key devices and technologies for high-technologies such as aviation, strong lasers, and inertial confinement fusion, for key projects such as synchrotron radiation and extreme ultraviolet lithography, and also for information technology, new energy resources, energy-saving and environmental protection. In a word, our lab is a base for technological innovation and talents cultivation in Shanghai.
Our lab is open to public, anyone who is intended to apply for new funding application, for science and technology achievements, or for research cooperation is more than welcomed. You may find us via telephone or come in person.
